I was born and raised in Murray, Utah and was introduced to hair by my aunt Susanne when I was a child. I always admired her dedication to the beauty industry as a stylist; even after a paralyzing, malignant brain tumor, she continued mentoring me and taught countless women with cancer how to style their hair and do their makeup.

My career in beauty industry began in 2009 as a makeup artist for several years. I decided to add hair to my repertoire, attending Paul Mitchell in 2014.

After working as a stylist, I wanted more than a just behind the chair position in the salon. I became salon manager at my former salon with hopes of owning my own salon one day. Once the pandemic hit in 2020, I decided the future is unknown and chasing dreams while we still had them was so important. I opened Planted Salon October 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. No regrets.

You can find me working behind the chair at my salon or behind the scenes at weddings, tv productions, and photo shoots. I work with well-known Photographers and Production companies in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. I also often work as the stylist and makeup artist for reporters at the Sundance Film Festival. My work has been seen on celebrities, (John Legend, Leslie Mann, Kendra Wilkenson, Nick Jonas, Zuri Hall, Marc Malkin, etc ) featured in film, commercial, print, news, and seen on many clients walking around in the Salt Lake area.

When I’m not at Planted Salon, you’ll find me hanging out with friends/family, perhaps eating Italian or Greek cuisine, watching a horror movie, or dreaming up my next vacation.
